Nearly 51,000 claims for first-time unemployment insurance were filed by Texas workers during the week that ended Jan. 16, according to data released by the U.S. Department of Labor Jan. 21. Dura Software acquires HR software company
San Antonio-based private investment company Dura Software acquired Vertex Systems, a technology company that creates human resources and administration software for organizations serving adults with disabilities, the company announced Friday.
Like all Dura Software portfolio companies, Vertex's headquarters will be moved to San Antonio. It will retain a workforce in Columbus that will work remotely, a spokesperson for Dura Software told the Business Journal.
